Timothy David Petteway

He was survived by his loving wife Louise Lynn Petteway; son Justin Lee Petteway and wife Sierra; daughter Lauren Taylor Petteway; and son Timothy David Petteway II; five brothers, Gregory Petteway and wife Tammy, Michael Petteway and wife Angela; Matthew Petteway and wife Carla; Jonathan Petteway; Keith Petteway and wife Amy; and one sister Ann Law and husband Andrew; many nieces, nephews and cousins, and two dogs, Lilly and Roscoe Petteway.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael Gene Petteway and Ruth Ellen Petteway.

Tim started his own business in 1999, "Carolina Stucco and Plastering", in which he worked vigorously to provide for his family. He had a deep appreciation and love for all of his family and his friends. Tim was the type of man that would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, an all around good man. Tim understood the value of hard work, and he instilled that value in all of his children. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home. The visitation will be 1 hour prior. A burial will follow at the Hartley Cemetery.
