Thomas "Mikey" Michael Stewart, 57, of New Bern passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021. Thomas was born on July 1, 1963 in Kinston, NC to Richard and Margaret Stewart.
Thomas was a 1982 graduate of NBSHS. He was an ardent Web Analytics hobbyist and studied Web Design at Craven Community College. He loved family, fishing, cooking, especially grilling, NASCAR, his loyal dog, Jordan, and God. Thomas owned and operated “Stewart’s Fine Painting, LLC” and other related sub-contractor businesses. He worked with Harbor Point Construction and other prime contractors during his career.
A gathering to celebrate his life will take place on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:30am at Union Point Park in downtown New Bern, inside the Pavilion. In the care of Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory.
