Sheron Faye Riggs

Sheron is survived by her loving husband, Russell J. Riggs; Daughters, Sheron Lynn Riggs Driver (husband Jeff) of Pollocksville, Tina Marie Riggs Swanson (husband Matthew) of Maysville, and Regina Mae Riggs Meadows (Husband Glenn) of Maysville; Brother, Tommy Jarman of Richmond, VA; Sisters, Judy Cannon of Maysville, Patsy Cannon of Pollocksville, Gail Dudley of Maysville, Marie Collins of Rocky Point, and Patricia Craft of Rocky Point; 12 Grandchildren, Staci Rivers, Mackenzie Welborn, Joseph Driver, Chesney Staples, Elizabeth Driver, Sara Driver, Rebekah Driver, Cayden Meadows, Cage Riggs Hubach, Alayah Meadows, Phoebe Swanson, and Ava Meadows; and Great Grandchildren, Jim Rivers and Heidi Welborn.

She is preceded in death by her Son, Russell Matthew Riggs; brothers, James Jarman and Larry Jarman; mother, Hazel Heath and father, Thurman Jarman; and Step-Father Earl Heath.

Sheron was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a very strong person, with an even stronger faith, a beautiful voice, and a giving heart.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 26th from 6-8pm at Cotten Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at 2pm on Wednesday, December 27th at Cotten Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Riggs Family Cemetery.
