He is preceded in death by his wife "Billie" Shelton.
Ronnie was a member of Gospel Outreach Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the 523rd Military Police Co. in the United States Army. Ronnie spent his career as a general supervisor at Hatteras Yachts, from where he retired. He was also a Master Craftsman in woodworking and cabinetry.
He is survived by two sons; Chuck Lawson of Ernul, NC, Michael Shelton (late wife Cindy) of Live Oak, FL, two daughters; Terri Daugherty (Tim) of Leesburg, GA, Donna Gaskins (Toney) of New Bern, NC, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 3:00pm at Greenleaf Memorial Park with Pastor John Clark officiating.
