He was born in Wilson, NC in 1968. He served in the United States Army (Korea) and the National Guard. He attended Craven Community College and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
He is survived by his mother, Joan C. Turnage; his father and step-mother, Robert J. and Karen Turnage; three brothers James Turnage, Ricky Minniti and Sean Turnage; and four sisters Jayne Sprinkle, Dawn Cornelius, Audra Taber and Kristen Turnage.
Graveside service will be held at the Lakeside Chapel at Greenleaf Memorial Park on Wednesday, October 15th at 2:30 pm. Receiving friends Tuesday, October 14th at Cotten Funeral Home from 6-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Craven County, 930 B. Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
