Bob was a remarkable man personally and professionally.  He was a talented anesthesiologist and a wonderful man.  I had the privilege of working with him at CHP as a resident, fellow and then colleague.  His impact on my personal and professional development was immeasurable.  My favorite conversations though were not about medicine, but his family.  He was so proud of each of his children and his love for you Sandra was so strong.  May your memories of him be a comfort during this difficult time.  

My deepest sympathies to your family. I worked along side Bob for many years caring for the sickest of children. Bobs humor and ability to help us all through the most difficult days will never be forgotten.  It was truly my pleasure to have known him. Rest easy my friend.

Ron and I are deeply saddened to hear of Bob’s home going. We considered Bob a friend and admired his wonderful work. He was a generous and kind man.  Our children loved fellowship with his children. Our daughter traveled with Bob and his family to Spain. An experience she will never forget. We were thankful for Bob’s work in our church. I (Bonnie) was the recipient of his expert anesthesia during surgery. Bob will be missed.

Our entire family is so saddened by the loss of our brother in law Bob. He was a good Christian man  and loved his family dearly.  We will miss his jokes and his sense of humor. Sincere condolences to Sandra, Jonah, and all of Bob’s family. Working with Bob at Children’s Hosptial of Pittsburgh was a delight- Bob had a very quick wit and steadfast excellence in care for his patients. I also admired his commitment to missionary work and to making this world a better place for all. His presence and practice will be missed far and wide. 

Sending sincerest condolences. Dr. Stough  was one of the nicest MDAs that I’ve ever worked. He was truely a scholar and a gentleman. May he RIP. 

I am saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Sharing an office at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, Bob was always quick to offer supportive words, a smile, or sarcasm - depending on what was needed at the moment.  Reconnecting with him in Morgantown years later, he still had that spark in his eye which heaven now enjoys. Sincerest condolences to Sandra, and children.  May your memories of this loving and generous man fill the void in your hearts.
