Denny attended Butler University where he earned a pharmaceutical degree. Before moving to New Bern, NC with his wife Brenda, he was a pharmacist in Louisville, KY. Once Brenda and he fell in love with the town of New Bern, he took an occupation as a pharmacist at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
Denny was very adventurous. He enjoyed traveling, camping, kayaking, concerts, tennis, frisbee golf, and enjoying the beach with the love of his life Brenda. Together they shared many amazing experiences and created a wonderful life for each other.
Denny was also an amazing unicyclist, juggler and magician in his prime. As you can imagine, these were amazing traits for a grandfather and one of Denny’s biggest joys was his 9 grandchildren. He loved setting up treasure hunts, beach days and playing any and every game with them. Denny’s love and dedication to his children could also not be defeated. He was his children’s biggest fan and supported them in every way possible. Last, his love for his parents, sisters and brother was nothing short of delightful.
