Phillip H. Williams, 57, of New Bern, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
He is survived by his loving wife Shirley Ginier Williams, his father Marion Williams, two sons; Brian Williams of Mauldin, SC and Jason Short of Winston-Salem, NC, one brother Randolph Williams, and one granddaughter, Caroline Beth Short. He is preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Williams Ryder.
Phillip was an accomplished man and was a proud graduate from Auburn University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and The McCallie School. He was a retiree from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company where he spent his working career.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 18, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 2:00-3:30pm at Cotton Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 6:30pm.
