Peggy Stell Goodwin

She was born October 30, 1936, to the late Clevy and Elsie Stell. Peggy adored her family and made sure to spend every moment with them. They celebrated a Christmas tradition for 65 years by gathering together and cherishing the time. Family meant everything to Peggy, and all who knew and loved her will greatly miss her.

Survived to honor Peggy's legacy are her daughters, Robin Hoisington (Bill) and Cheryl Harden (Steve); grandchildren, Todd Edwards (Amberly), Jeff Edwards (Kim), Alex Hamby (Josh), and Billy Hoisington (Mariko); 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Louise West (Don) and Betty Wood (Mike); niece, Renee Fletcher; and her favorite grand puppy, Paisley.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hampton Goodwin.

A private service will be held at a later date.

To honor Peggy's memory, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Craven County Hospice or St. Jude.
