She was a nurturing soul leading her to helping those in need, working extra shifts for people who couldn't. She was generous with her time and rescued abandoned animals (mostly kittens). She had fast-growing long dark hair which she donated cuts to Locks of Love. In school she was in academically gifted classes, an avid novel reader, loved to sing, baked the greatest brownies, and attended the grandfather Mountain Scottish Highland games when her schedule permitted. A few times she assisted backstage with productions at the New Bern Civic Theater and portrayed a kitchen wench demonstrating living history at the Tryon Palace. She was a good mother to her children and a good friend to her extended families and loved by all.

She is predeceased by her father Lucian Noble III formerly of Ft. Wright, KY, grandparents Glenn and Shirley Simpson formerly of Montrose, CO, Lucian Noble, Jr. formerly of Covington, KY, great uncle Stuart Scott formerly of Fountain Hills, AZ, Larry Noble formerly of Erlanger, KY, Robert Noble formerly of Union, KY, and uncle Walter Noble formerly of Covington, KY.
The family would like to thank the New Bern Police, EMS, Co-responder Dennis Holman, grief counselors at Second Chance Behavioral Health of New Bern, Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory, Bagpiper Robert J. White of Raleigh, NC, Pastor David McCants and Two Rivers Church, Brenda Gartin of New Bern, numerous friends, neighbors, and extended family for their warmth, compassion, and prayers, and those who have reminded us of past memories to help comfort us.
A celebration of life for Paula will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Two Rivers Church, 3321 Neuse Blvd., New Bern, North Carolina 28560 with a reception to follow.
