Faye's family will remember her as a wonderful wife, a great mom, a caring sister, and a most loving grandmother.
She is survived by sons, Reggie Brooks (Ann) of Zebulon, NC, and Bill Brooks of New Bern, NC; two grandchildren, Maggie Brooks of Lexington, KY, and Jackson Brooks, of Zebulon, NC; sister, Hilda Pope; and other loving family members and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gary Brooks.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Lakeside Chapel at Greenleaf Memorial Park. Faye will be laid to rest beside Gary following the service.
