Nancy Lynne Rousseau

Lynne is preceded in death by her beloved husband John Rousseau, and parents Clarence Malcomb Allred Margaret June Moore.

She is survived by her son, Brian McCain (Russel) of Raleigh NC, step children, Anthony Rousseau of Thousand Oaks, CA, Christina Wilkinson (John) of San Carlos, CA, sister, Peggy Hart (Stewart) of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren, Sarah McCain, Rachel McCain, Katelyn, Mathew, Ramsey and great grandchild, Madelyn McCain.

Lynne spent her career as an RN helping people at Craven Regional Hospital, Durham County Regional Hospital as the Director of Psychiatric Nursing and later as the Director of HOPE Clinic for many years.

She earned her Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina. Lynne was a lover of the outdoors, she enjoyed sailing, gardening, camping, and photography.

A memorial service will be held at Cotten Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 5:00pm. The family will receive friends following the service.
