He owned and operated Smith’s TeePee Station in Bridgeton for many years. He was also a United States Army veteran.
He is predeceased by his wife Peggy A. Smith.
He is survived by his sons William A. Smith, Richard L. (Terry) Smith, Sr. and Charles A. (Lynn) Smith, Sr.; daughter-in-law Carla Smith; grandchildren Melissa (David) Salmons, Richard L. Smith, Jr., Charles (Danielle) Smith, Jr., Joshua Smith, Jessica Smith, and Amanda (Michael) Zaytoun; great-grandchildren Landin Salmons, Haley Salmons, Lindsay Salmons, Connor Smith and Landon Zaytoun.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the charity of one’s choice.
