Mary Hinton Strange

Mary loved her family and is survived by her children, Danny Strange and wife Jenny and Mary Brinn and husband Phillip; daughter-in-law, Ann Strange; grandchildren, Doug Strange III (Nichole), Keith Strange, Molly Mathews (Nick), Melanie Woolard (Matt), Andrew Strange (Dani), Jodi Brinn, and Phillip Brinn Jr.; 9 great-grandchildren; and many loving family and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Strange; son, Doug Strange Jr.; and siblings, Russell Lee Hinton, Margaret Brantley, and Doris Hinton.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Vanceboro United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Mary's Life will follow at 11:00 AM. Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband following the service at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount, NC at 2:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary's honor to Vanceboro United Methodist Church.
