Mary Louise Reece

She is survived by her husband of 73 1/2 years, Bobby Reece; children, Mitzi Arnett (Phillip) of Raleigh, NC, Donna Martin of the home; son-in-law, Robert Martin, of New Bern, grandchildren, Justin Martin of New Bern, and Kevin (Lauren) Arnett of Raleigh, NC; great-grandchildren, Finley & Alexis Arnett of Raleigh, NC; sister, Wanda Crumley of Smithfield, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carl & Jack Jones; sister, Betty Kate Bishop; two daughters, Deborah Reece & Janet Raper; and granddaughter, April Martin.

Louise had worked for Sears Roebuck, First Baptist Church, and General Wholesale/New Bern Building Supply Companies throughout her life. But her most important job to her was taking care of her family and friends, which she always did.

The family will receive visitors from 1:00-2:00 pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at First Baptist Church in New Bern. A celebration of Louise's life will begin at 2:00 pm. Following the service, Louise will be laid to rest at Greenleaf.
