Mary “Julene” Hawkins Adams, 71, of New Bern, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
She was the co-owner of Adams Concrete and a member of Spring Garden Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her son Robert L. “Robbie” Adams, Jr. and her parents Levy and Virginia Hawkins of Cove City.
She is survived by her husband Robert L. Adams; her daughter Wendy Adams Miller and husband Ross of New Bern; two grandchildren Ashley Miller Etheredge and husband Stephen of New Bern and Adam Michael Miller of New Bern.
The funeral service will be Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Cotten Funeral Home.
