Mary Frances Whitley Batts

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper “Jack” Duke Batts on March 12, 2013. Frances attended Pleasant Acres FWB Church.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy D. Batts and partner Alan Rex Barnwell of Hendersonville; Steve E. Batts and wife Beth Perry Batts of New Bern; one daughter, Angela Offenberger and fiance’ Armando Zavala of Havelock; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her beloved cat “Calico” and her best friend Sue Miller.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, March 14, 2013 at Cotten Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 15, 2013 at Lakeside Chapel, Greenleaf Memorial Park.
