NEW BERN - Margaret Sandra Richardson, 75, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at her home.
She was born on June 16, 1936, in Anniston, Ala., to Tom and Cora Luallen. She was a member of the Quaker Neck Ladies Golf Association and enjoyed golfing with the Nine Holers.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Brooks and Keith Brooks of Maryland; two daughters, Sandra "Sandy" Finch of New Bern and Bonnie Brooks of Maryland; a sister, Nancy Johnson, of Anniston, Ala.; and six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at Cotten Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at 1 p.m. with burial following the service at Greenleaf Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
