Margaret Sanford McDonald, 57, of North Haven, CT, wife of William G. McDonald, passed on April 28, 2020 in New Bern, NC. She was the daughter of the late John and Constance Sanford. Maggie was an LPN and worked at the Arden House, John J Nerden RTC Camp and The Cove Center for grieving children as well as an EMT trainer for multiple entities in the New Haven area.
Maggie is survived by her children, Corrine (Keith) Barnhill of New Bern, NC, William (Vianey) McDonald of Los Llanos de Aridane, Canary Islands. She leaves behind her three grandsons Kannon, Oliver and Conor Barnhill, of New Bern, her brothers David and Mark, sister in laws Sarah Sanford, Kathleen McDonald Crisman, brother in laws Scott (Susan) McDonald and Robert (Cheryl) McDonald in CT.
She was predeceased by her brothers Jeffrey(Judy) and Christopher(Carol) Sanford.
Memorial service will be held at a later date in CT.
Arrangements are held by Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory.
