Peg grew up on Long Island New York. She met her husband, Don in 1976, and married in December of 1976. They lived in Copiague, NY and had two sons, then moved to Bridgeton, NC in 1987 where they had a daughter. She was happily married for 38 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Donald Crossley, sons; Donald (Brandy), Fred (Cindi), daughter Margaret (Derek), daughter of the heart Tegan Sullivan, granddaughters; Kayla Crossley, Isabella Crossley, Sophia Hayden, grandson, Jayden Crossley, brothers; Dennis Morgan (Linda), Bill Morgan (Karen), Dan Morgan (Lori), sisters; Jeanne Mandia (Joey), Joyce Mattocks (Dwight), Jenna Whealton (Gerald), two sister-in-laws; Joyce Rohrs and Mary Ellen Rotolo, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents William F. Morgan and Frances M. Baisley, and her granddaughter Kaia Crossley.
Peg enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to different places, and going camping. She collected thimbles, water globes, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going on Facebook and playing games.
She will be deeply missed by all of her loved ones, close friends, and many others. She has touched the hearts of so many, and was also an inspiration.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Cotten funeral home. A service will be held directly after in the chapel of the funeral home. The funeral will be officiated by Brother Kenneth Dixon. The family will accept friends and family at the home of her sister Jenna Whealton at 107 Jones Farm Rd. New Bern, NC
