Margaret "Libby" Beasley

Libby is survived by sons Chuck Beasley of New Bern, Gray Beasley of New Bern; brother A. C. Kenan of Wallace; granddaughters Chelsie N. Beasley, Bailey G. Beasley, Brittany M. Beasley; grandson Kenan Beasley, great granddaughter Savannah White, great grandsons Bentley Johnson and Grayson Garcia.

Libby was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Beasley Sr.

She was a member of Temple Baptist Church since 1968. Libby cherished her faith, and she gave back to her community by helping with the church as well as volunteering her time to do work with New Bern's senior citizens. At home she loved her family and dogs. She enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her many flower beds. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service for Libby will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Cotten Funeral Home, 2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, North Carolina 28560. A cremation will occur.
