Madeline D. Dunn Bell

Madeline D. Bell, 90, of New Bern, died March 22, 2012 at home.

She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star No. 249, the Garden Club of Havelock, First Baptist Church of Havelock, and Rhems United Methodist Church. Her interests included gardening, sewing, and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl C. and Lena R. Dunn.

She is survived by her son, Carl F. Barwick of New Bern; her daughter in-law, Mary Helen Barwick; two granddaughters, Laura Lee Honbarrier and husband John and Debbie D. Audilet and husband, John; and six great-grandchildren, Margaret Audilet, Carlee Honbarrier, Laura Audilet, Sarah Honbarrier, Barwick Audilet, and Baird Audilet.

Services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Rhems UMC with Rev. Connie Stutts officiating. Burial will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
