Lucy Davis Morton

She was born in the Asbury community of Craven County on November 7, 1928. She was an active and long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Albert Fredrick Morton, Sr., her parents, Guy Thomas and Eva Frazier Davis and one brother, Guy T. “Tom” Davis, Jr.

Lucy is survived by two sons, A. Fredrick “Fred” Morton, Jr. and wife Kathy, G. Michael “Mike” Morton and wife Judy, all of New Bern; and three grandchildren, Kindelle Morton McCullen and husband Chad, Blake Morton and Lindsey Morton.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church, followed by a service at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Charlene Guider officiating. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
