Lori was an active member of Annunciation Catholic church in Havelock since 1977 where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and a lay reader. Lori was well known for her talent as a seamstress, being the former owner of Monograms by Lori of Havelock, she also volunteered at Tryon Palace in the costume shop and as an avid quilter, she enjoyed her time as a member of the Quilters club in Havelock. She liked to spend her free time visiting with the senior citizens in the local nursing home.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Earl Chase; two sons, Gordon Chase and Troy Chase (Carol Hanson); two sisters, Elizabeth Bayes and Susan Finley; her four legged friend " Buster" and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Agnes Hope; one sister, Diane Shyrigh and one brother, James Hope.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 9:30 am at Annunciation Catholic Church in Havelock. A reception will follow. The family will receive friends at Annunciation Catholic Church on Friday, April 25th from 6-8 pm.
