Linda Carey Baker, 74, of New Bern, North Carolina passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. Linda was born on May 27, 1949 in Craven County, North Carolina to Louie Carey and Pearl Emery Carey.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 42 years, Alvin Baker, children Brent Whitehurst and Kathy and Paul Morton and Amber, grandchildren Jon Whitehurst and Amber, Kristyn Morton Penn, great-grand children Ezra Penn, sisters Sylvia Wetherington and Mickey Downing.
Service Information: The family will receive friends Saturday, August 5, at 10:00 am at the Vernon Blades riverfront park in Bridgeton, 200 W. Academy Street for A Celebration of Life Service.
