Mr. Leon “Scotty” Crawford Scott III, age 79, a resident of New Bern, passed away Monday February 20, 2023 at his home.
Funeral services will be 2:00PM Friday, February 24, 2023 at Centenary United Methodist Church and will be conducted by Rev. Van Spivey, Rev. Michael Williams and Rev. David Brosnan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
Mr. Scott was born in Baltimore, MD on February 25, 1943 to the late Leon C. Scott Jr. and Helen Wetherington Scott.
Survivors include his wife Cynthia B. Scott of the home, Marie Scott and husband Michael Garrett and his sister, Dana Scott and husband Charles Rabun.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church Building Fund, 309 New Street, New Bern, NC 28560.
