Kathryn Sue Buck

Kathryn Sue Buck, 74 of New Bern passed away on Wednesday December 20, 2023 at CarolinaEast Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Ray Buck Sr., parents John M Noble and Kathryn Cox Noble. She is survived by her son Ken Buck Jr and daughter in law Jennifer Buck of Davidson NC, daughter Kathy Waddell and son in law TJ Waddell of New Bern, grandchildren Austin Buck, Hunter Waddell, Abby Buck, Peyton Waddell Kaden Buck, brother Martin Noble Jr. and sister in law Sylvia Noble of Kinston.

She was a supervisor at Howell’s Child Care Center for 20 years when she retired to dedicate her time to her grandchildren and church. She was a longtime member of Broad Street Christian Church where she served as chairwoman of the board, elder and president of her CWF group. Her memorial service will be held at Broad Street Christian Church on January 6, 2024 at 2pm.
