Karla was born in Flensburg, Germany and came to this country as a young child. She lived in New Jersey until she and her husband Ed retired to North Carolina.
Karla was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and brought joy to everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Carol, her sister-in-law Helen Frech, her nieces Rhea Rebmann and Lorraine Kerney and their extended families.
Karla’s Inurnment Service will take place on Saturday, March 16 at 4:00 PM in the Centenary columbarium.
