John Allen Tripp
December 27, 1929 – April 7, 2014
IN THE CARE OF
John Allen Tripp, 84, of New Bern, died April 7, 2014 at home.
He was a member of Sherwood Forest FWB church and the former owner and operator of John Tripp’s Garage. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Lula Tripp, his brother Fredrick Lee Tripp and a sister, Bernice Tripp Broadway.
He is survived by his wife Gertrude Lewis Tripp, one sister, Margaret Tripp Avery of Camden, SC; eight nephews and six nieces.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Cotten Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Cotten Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to United Hospice.
