John Webster Knott

John Webster Knott, 86, of New Bern, passed away on the morning of Thursday, August 4, 2016. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force at the rank of SMsgt and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Most importantly, he was a loving husband and father.

Graveside funeral service will be 12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Lakeside Chapel of Greenleaf Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Nobles of New Bern; his children, Kathy Autry of Garner, Bill Autry of New Bern, John Ray Knott and wife, Tammy of Raleigh and Peggy Davis of Midvale, Utah; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
