John Francis Bolan III

John enjoyed the ocean, sailing, scuba diving, golf and politics. He was an avid sailor and had many sailboats in various ports throughout his life.

John grew up on the New Jersey coast. He joined the Navy where he became a Navy aviation electronics technician/PV2 aircrewman. After the Navy he worked at Atlantic Design Portsmouth Navy shipyard on the Thresher submarine project, RCA service Co. New London, CT in undersea technology and Sanders Associates Nashua, NH Ocean systems division as systems engineer for numerous anti- submarine military contracts. He held a US government security clearance in both the Navy and professionally.

In the early 1970s he started selling real estate and opened his own small real estate company which grew into a large company handling residential, commercial, property management prefabricated homes.

He was a member of the NH House of Representatives for a few years and a member of the NH Civil Defense Scuba Diving Unit.

He is survived by his children, Cassandra, John, Peter, and Andrea; grandchildren, Isabella, Isadora, and Issarra; sisters, Judith Bolan McElwaine and Candy Bolan Koye; brother, Wayne Bolan, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his second wife Sandra Bolan.
