He was a member of Minnesott Golf and Country Club.
He is survived by his wife Linda, three daughters, Jo Karen Farmer of Greenville, NC; Patricia Farmer of Florence, SC; Tammy Haymen of Brunswick, GA; two step-sons, David Parrott of Johnsonville, SC; Chad Parrott of Wilson, NC; one stepdaughter, Nichole Gore of Interlacken, FL; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Honeycutt of Williamston, NC; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Cotten Chapel with Rev. Larry Lilley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
