Jerry Andrew Paschal Sr.

Jerry Andrew Paschal, Sr., age 74, of New Bern, North Carolina went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Jerry honorably served in the United States Navy and worked as an electrician with Weyerhaeuser and retired with 30 years of service. His passion for woodworking was second only to his love for his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Paschal; children, Andy Paschal (Sherry), Robert Paschal (Wendy), Amber Jones (Abdullah), Michele Lee (Keith) and Michael Lanyon (Stephanie); brothers, Gene Paschal (Jeanette), Richard Paschal (Angela), and Kenny Paschal; sisters, Robbie Kendrick (Joel) and Karen Paschal; thirteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hailey Paschal.

Memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at New Life Church with Pastor Scott Coghill officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
