Jasper "Jay" Dewey Dudley Jr.

Jasper "Jay" Dewey Dudley, Jr., 65, of New Bern, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. Jay was born in Craven County, North Carolina on August 8, 1956 tot he late Jasper Dewey Dudley, Sr. and Leila Bell Dudley.

During his short life he had the opportunity to work in a youth program for the U.S. Forestry Service. He also worked as an electrician assistant followed by an automotive mechanic until his health ended his work career. Up until his passing he spent most of his time socializing, Jay never met a stranger.

Jay is survived by his sister, Kay Dudley Lupton (Brent) and brother, Brian Dudley (Susan) residing in New Bern, North Carolina. Also surviving him are his constant companions; Mister and Tator who he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents Jay is predeceased by a sister, Joyce Dudley Eborn.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest in Greenleaf Memorial Park Cemetery in New Bern, North Carolina.
