Jason was a devoted husband, father, and friend whose presence brought joy and warmth to those around him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Lisa Carman, and their two sons, Owen Carman (Kate) and Joshua Carman, all of whom he loved deeply.
Jason held a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies and a Master of Business Administration. He worked as a General Contractor for 20 years and was a former Carteret County Building Inspector. Known for his integrity, hard work, and dedication, Jason earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
An avid outdoorsman, Jason found peace and happiness in cycling and kayaking but he especially treasured time spent with his family.
A Memorial Service to honor Jason’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
Jason will be missed deeply and remembered always.
