Born in Plymouth, North Carolina, Janice was a loving and kind wife, mother, and grandmother who always put others first.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Jones, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Laura Nobles (Leyton Beaver) of Greenville and Alfred Jones, Jr. (April) of Greenville; brother, Frankie York (Kathy) of New Bern; grandchildren, Nicole Jones, Alfred Jones, III, Britton Beaver, Bradley Jones, Donnie Jones, and Madison Poissant.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
