The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm at the church. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, March 8 at Cherry Point Baptist Church in Havelock. Burial will be Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
He is survived by his sister Judy Lane Turpin and 2 nephews, Bucky James Turpin and Gary Turpin Jr.
