A gifted musician, James enjoyed playing his guitar. He loved all things about outer space. James was a devoted father and was great with kids. He will be remembered for his giving spirit and putting others first.
He is survived by his father, Richard Clark of New Bern, NC; his mother, Jeanette Tannehill of Vicco, KY; fiance', Jade Fowler of New Bern; son, Jensen Clark of New Bern; sisters, Ashley Norris of New Bern and Stephanie Demory of Ft. Stewart, Ga.; and brother, Joshua Long of Scott AFB, IL.
The family will hold a memorial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his name to benefit diabetes research.
