NEW BERN | Jack A. Wright, 79, of New Bern. North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Christine Wright; sons, Albert Wright and Gary Bryant and wife, Wanda Bryant; daughter, Nancy Mayo and husband, Mark Mayo; two grandsons, Timothy Bryant and James Bryant; six great grandchildren and his sister, Frances Cayton.
Jack was born in Edenton. North Carolina. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He worked for Citigroup for 37 years. He was also an avid golfer at Taberna Country Club. Jack loved the Lord and his family.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015, followed by his memorial service at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church 608 Broad St., New Bern, NC 28560 with Rev. Michael Bentley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
