Helen Mae Robinson

Ms. Robinson was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 4809, Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Pythians, Temple #33, and a past president of the Hollywood Homes/Maple Hall CivicLeague. She was a volunteer for many years at Sentara Leigh Hospital and the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society at Little CreekAmphibious Base. Ms. Robinson retired from Landmark Communications (formerly Virginian Pilot/Ledger Star Newspapers).

She is survived by her son, Roy C. Robinson and his wife Barbara of Virginia Beach, Virginia; daughter, Donna R. Wilgus of New Bern, North Carolina; grandson, Brian E. Wilgus and his wife Rebecca of Glen Carbon, Illinois; grandson, Steven E. Wilgus currently residing in the United Kingdom, and two great grandsons, Ian Wilgus and Nathan Wilgus of Glen Carbon, Illinois.

She has been a member of Virginia Heights Baptist Church since 1957. Services will be held graveside at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, Virginia at a date to be determined.
