He is survived by his wife Beverly Utz; sons, Brian G. Utz and wife Jenifer of New Bern, Kevin Utz and wife Ashley of Wake Forest and; daughter Jamie L. Utz of Havelock; sisters, Laura M. Utz and Judy A. Kollias both of San Antonio TX; four granddaughters, Darcy Welsh, Addison Utz, Alyssa Saling, and Skylar Saling.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cotten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home.
