Gary Bruce Ipock

Gary grew up in the Jasper community of Craven County and was a graduate of West Craven High School. While living in Jasper he attended Bethany Christian Church, was a member of the CYF and served as Junior Deacon. Gary had been employed at Chatsworth Products for the past 21 years and often spoke of his close relationship with his co-workers. He loved helping anyone in need and especially enjoyed helping children. However, his passion was music. He loved to play the guitar and sing; and, he was a prolific song writer.

He is survived by his mother, Judy McCosley Ipock, of Ernul and his siter, Diana Ipock Reid, (Wade) of Corpus Christi, Texas. Gary is preceded in death by his dad, Robert "Bobby" Ipock, and his paternal grandparents, Elmon and Guy Eula Ipock, and maternal grandparents, John "Dink" and Ola McCosley.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at Kitt Swamp Christian Church, 320 Aurora Road, Ernul, N.C. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
