Eunice B White

Eunice Burnette White, 91, of New Bern, passed away February 8, 2016 at Two Rivers Healthcare.

She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and New Bern Shrine Club, and she retired from Cherry Point. Eunice was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Roy Burnette, and a daughter Janet White Daigle.

Eunice is survived by her husband of 69 years, Archie B. White, one son, Gary L. White and wife Debra of Cove City, a son in-law, Richard Daigle of Alpharetta, GA, one brother, Jack Burnette of Lake City, FL, one sister, Myrtle Roach of Houston, TX, seven grandchildren, Chris White and wife Heidi of Winterville, Jason Mahoney and wife Laura of Huntersville, Lauren Dishman and husband Brian of Greenville, Kelly Woolery and husband Drew of Greenville, Richie Daigle of Chattanooga, TN, Bethany Daigle of Alpharetta, GA, and Caroline Daigle of Austin, TX. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, February 12, 2016 at Greenleaf Memorial Park. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at Centenary UMC, followed by a reception in the fellowship hall. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Cotten Funeral Home.
