Ernest “Ernie” Jerome Robinson, Jr, 82 of River Bend passed away June 6, 2020.
He was a US Air force Veteran. A previous member of Newport Moose Lodge and retired from the Postal Service. He attended Massanutten Military Academy.
He enjoyed going to NASCAR races and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; son, E.J. Robinson of New Bern; daughters, Darlene Brecht and husband Robin of Laurel MD and Sharon Cocchiola and husband Mike of Ashland, VA, sisters, Katherine Ecceleston of Catonsville, MD and Elsie Trivett of Timonium, MD; Affectionally known as “Pop Pop” to his 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister in law, Joann Walton and husband John of Salisbury MD.
Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Colonial Capital Humane Society or CarolinaEast Foundation.
