Elizabeth Cudmore Wallace, a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker, passed away on the morning of Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age of 90 years. As the wife of a military pilot, Elizabeth traveled around the world and was especially fond of her time in Vietnam, where she volunteered orphanages and helped care for children. She enjoyed painting and writing as well as taking in and caring for stray dogs and cats.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Ralph D. Wallace (USMC); two sons, David Clare Osgood and John Edward Wallace; as well as her former husband, Col. Clarence Osgood (USMC).
Survivors include one son, Lawrence Walter Osgood; three daughters, Patricia Cuthrell, Laurie Anne Wallace, and Pamela Lee Wallace Koraly; adopted daughter, Lana Lartigue; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
According to her wishes, there will be no services but for those who wish to make a memorial contribution, the family suggests they be made to the American Cancer Society in Elizabeth’s name.
