She is originally from Nesconset, New York and was a member of Riverbend Garden Club.
She is survived by her son Timothy E. Andersen of Elizabeth City, NC; daughters Karen R. Andersen of Ephrata, PA and Gail L. Borner of New Bern, NC; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm, Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Cotten Funeral Home. A private burial will be at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory.
