Donald L. Waters, 86, of New Bern, died July 6, 2013 at home.
He served our country in the U. S. Air Force and the U.S. Army and worked as a railroad conductor. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Pauline Spruill Waters, two sons, Leo D. Waters of New Bern; Larry Waters of Grifton; three sisters, Eunice Ann W. Woolard of Washington; Peggy W. Price of Jamesville; LuEllen W. Wallace of Pinetown; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Cotten Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
