Donald Ray Locklear

He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ertha Locklear, brothers; Joe Brant Locklear, and Dolan Locklear.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Locklear, son, Timothy Locklear of Maxton, daughters; Vickie Jacobs (Perry) of Maxton, Teresa Locklear (Kinston) of Maxton, Brittany Locklear of Greenville, Cheyenne Locklear of Vanceboro, a special daughter-in-law, Carol Lewis of Vanceboro, brothers; Joe T. Locklear of Maxton, Ronnie Locklear of Vanceboro, Charles Locklear (Judy) of Ernul, sister, Carolyn Fulmer of New Bern, grandchildren; Josh, Chrislain, Oryan, Twyannia, Brooke, T.J., Summer, Jase, Zayden, Alaskha, Killian, Journee, Ja'lyah, twelve great grandchildren, loving nieces and nephews.

Donald was a member of Passion of Christ Church in Vanceboro. He enjoyed fishing and spending hours talking with his buddies and friends at the store. Those that knew him called him "Chief" and "Henry." He was known for affectionately called people, "booke", "puddin", and "punkin."

Visitation will be from 1-2pm on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Cotten Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Locklear Family Cemetery 7395 River Rd, Vanceboro.
