Bobbie, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your husband.  You have a beautiful family and I'm sure Dixie will be missed greatly. It has been so long since I have seen you, but wanted you to know I care.  You were always such a sweet person. Hope you remember.

I'm sorry for the loss of Dixie Stewart  and I will keep Bobby and the family in my prayers  !! I have known the family for 40 plus years  !!

We had many wonderful times getting together with family.  Always lots of food (mostly cooked by you) and always laughter.  Gone too soon, but not forgotten.

Dixie it was a honor knowing you even on a bad day you could put a smile on my face . Rest in peace my friend see you soon .

My memories of Dixie are many, but I'll keep it to just a few.  He was the baby of Leona and Dock Stewart weighing in around 1.5 lbs.   As a young man he loved working on the farm and could build about anything you needed.  His car's were always spotless and he was devoted to his mom my grandma all her life.  When he and Bobby got together many years ago he was so excited to have his stepdaughter Cindy join the Stewart family.  Cindy was such a joy and he loved her as she was his own.  Then a few years later his pride and joy came along Amy.  Years later he because a proud granddaddy to  Alexa, Morgan, Asala, Haiden and Eli; great grandchild, Xenna and his extended family.  He also loved his son in-laws Matt and Mark.  He knew his daughters were in good hands as these young men truly loved his girls.

 Every summer all the Stewart's & Friends would gather for the large family reunions.  The memories continued to grow and the love of true brother and sisterhood was brought back in just a few hours of family gatherings.  Dixie was special to me as he was more like a brother.  We grew up together!  He loved me for me and our last words to each other were I love you brother.  Now his soul is back with Grandma. Granddaddy and all his family.  Our hearts are broken, but our memories are forever.  Until we see you again, just know YOU WERE LOVED!  Give my grandma a big hug and kiss.

He was the best dad you could ever ask for. Didn’t matter what time day or night if I need my daddy he was there for me and helped me the best he could. I will forever cherish the memories I have with joking and pranking getting to sit in his lap and drive riding with him on the tractor and tobacco trucks to haul tobacco and talk on the cb radio I got in trouble almost lol when he farmed when I was little to gardening, cooking on the grill, collards and dumplings, making his secret BBQ sauce, teaching me to mow the grass, riding around with him going to see different people like Popeyes, Eddie's, Rabbit, Boot, Rat, and numerous others that loved my dad just plain riding around and him showing me all the fields he worked in or what use to be on a property back what used to be there to which house he did work on showing so and so that used to lived there. Everywhere he went I was right there with him. May you rest in peace now Daddy your not in pain or suffering anymore. You finally get to meet your dad and see grandmama your sisters and brothers everyone else you missed dearly. Love you Daddy you'll never be forgotten!

I grow up with Amy, spent a lot of my youth in Dixie and Bobby's home. They was always the most lovely parents to anyone whom associated with Amy. I accepted them as family, may not speak every day but would definitely show up if they called. Watching Dixie has a father to Amy showed me the true way a man is supposed to love his child. He was always full of laughter and plenty of stories. Never minded hearing them more than once from ole hoss as he always would tell them during his cooking time. He was an excellent handy man anything you needed he solved it and got it done! Just want to give all the love to those he left behind, and say if you need me call! Love you guys 💚💯

Dixie  was good people. Kind an always helping others. Always saying something to make you laugh.He could cook a mean pig an some chicken. Loved his collards too...you will be missed , my kin an neighbor forever. RIP IN PEACE TILL WE MEET AGAIN....
