A great talent and honest person called home way to early. I will miss him so very much.

      David always said to me everytime I saw him..."I  know your wife Lucy is a nice person, but if she walked up to me I wouldn't recognize her! "  Lucy was always at work whenever David came around. 
      David had a brilliant mind, he would think about a problem and come up with a solution.  He taught his sons Chip & Donnie all of the knowledge that was inside his head, he was hard on them because he loved them so much! A great father, and a great friend! 
   David will be truly missed, but one day  we shall meet again! God speed!
  

I met David at the college, a friend was talking David's class. I joked him with David chiming in the whole semester. But David was also a good friend. When the AC went out on my camper I carried it to him. He took the time to show me how to fix it.  RIP my friend and HVAC guy .

David was always there when we needed him and we will miss  him. Looked forward talking with him when he came to our house. Last Friday he and Donnie installed a generator for us. We set under a canopy while Donnie and another young man did the wiring and had a nice talk and  will never forget.  He was always proud of his children and there  work. 

Will miss you greatly, my friend. You were the most professional and hilarious HVAC/mechanical engineer I've ever been blessed to know! God bless your family and legacy you left here.

Brother David was a great man. Always willing to help and always had a witty comment to bring a smile. He will be missed by so many. RIP my brother.

David was one in a million! Helping people in the HVAC field with expertise and compassion! He will be missed in the community! Rest is peace Brother! May God comfort your family!

I worked with David when he was our HVAC instructor at Craven Community College. He worked hard to make his program top notch and his students were well prepared for their future jobs. Praying for David’s family and friends. 

David Novak was my HVAC instructor at Craven CC, in the mid 90’s.  He was young then but had so much knowledge , experience , and loved promoting those whom he saw as really trying. Since then I’d see him now and then and could call him when I had an HVAC question, often while I was working. In the last six months or so I reconnected with him for several jobs needed. I’m glad I did.  He was so smart and always open to my friendship. I’ll miss David Novak.

We met David so many years ago, I cannot remember the year. To say David was smart was an understatement! He was an absolute genius! He could do anything and everything but fail. He had a heart that loved deeply. He wasn’t a saint and neither are we. He had low tolerance for those that didn’t apply themselves. He forgot that others were not as smart as he was and I reminded him of that.  He didn’t get mad, lol. He loved his boys and girls. Chip and Donnie stepped up when he needed them the most! Ty boys for your great efforts!  He recently updated us to where his girls are now. So many years that passed so swiftly.  David loved deeply and he may have had a hard time showing it but we all knew it. Loving him came naturally and we loved him unconditionally.  He was the son we never had (  weeping) and the plumber, builder, a/c and great friend. One little story, money was short and I mean short, I had little tires on my truck and they looked awful, guess who showed up with tires and said get them Mexican tires off your truck.  Yep David. He was kind and generous and no one will ever fill his place! Our last call was when he was checking on Sara, and then going to do a small job for us. David, we love you and say Hello to the angels and we wish you were just a phone call away.  We always knew you had our back. God bless David in his heavenly journey. We shall always love you!

In the short time I knew him, I developed a tremendous respect for David’s professional knowledge, experience and concern for his customers. .  He will be missed and hard to replace.   
Rest In Peace......

Brother Novak helped guide me into masonry and I always enjoyed seeing him in lodge. He left a lasting impact on me and he will be missed.

You dad will be surely missed, very kind to his customers. My thoughts and prays are with your family at this time.  He will be missed.

David was a good man.  He made sure his customers were well taken care of and would go way out of his way to make sure they were happy.  I hope that his sons will keep up that business in the same manner that he did.  David worked hard  all the time.

He loved his family and that is what made him so special.
